Coach and Volunteer Information

Please let us know if you are interested in participating in the either the baseball or softball programs. In addition to coaches and assistant coaches, we need volunteers for the various Little League activities that take place before, during, and after the season. Tryouts, field cleanup, opening day, or the annual dance and raffle are all examples of things that volunteers can help with. More information is available at registration (see registration page for details).

Our Board of Directors meets regularly, and we invite anyone interested to attend these meetings to share ideas or to just see what's going on. The times for the Board meetings are posted in on the Main Page of this website, and in the Gloucester Daily Times under the "Goings On" section.

Coach and Volunteer Form
All coaches and assistant coaches are required to submit to a criminal background check in order to participate in the Little League Baseball and Softball programs. In addition, certain other volunteers, primarily those that will be working with the children, must also submit to a criminal background check. To do this, each such volunteer must complete a CORI form. If you plan to volunteer with the Little League, particularly as a coach or an assistant coach, please click the link below to download the CORI form to your computer. Complete the form and bring it to registration, or mail it to Rockport Little League, P.O. Box 701, Rockport, MA 01966.
