Our Programs

Baseball
We offer baseball for ages 7-16 in five different divisions as follows.

Minor B Division. This is our entry level division, and is made up primarily of players in the 7-8 year old age group.

Minor A Division. This division is the first level of live pitching, and is made up of primarily of players in the 8-10 year old age group.

Majors Division. This division is made up of players in the 10-12 year old age group.

Junior League Division. This division is made up of players in the 13-14 year old age group.

Senior League Division. This division is made up of players in the 15-16 year old age group.

Softball
We offer softball for grades 3-8 in three different divisions as follows.

Class C Division. This division is made up of players in grades 3 and 4.

Class B Division. This division is made up of players in grades 5 and 6.

Class A Division. This division is made up of players in grades 7 and 8.

Please Note. Rockport Little League does not offer T-Ball. T-Ball in Rockport is offered by the Town of Rockport, Recreation Committee. Click here to visit the Recreation Department website for more information.

Little League Age Determination
The date for determining a player's age for Little League is April 30 of the current year. Whatever a player's age is on April 30 is the age that is used to determine his/her eligibility for Little League participation.

Registration By Mail
Instructions to register by mail are as follows:

1. Download a registration/medical form for each player to be registered, and complete this form.

2. Make your check payable to "Rockport Little League, Inc." for the applicable amount (see 'Cost' below).

3. For each player that you are registering for baseball, make a copy of the player's birth certificate. Note that birth certificates are not required for softball registration.

4. Mail the completed registration/medical form, the copy of the player's birth certificate, and your check for the applicable registration fee, to:

Cost
The registration fee for the 2007 season is $65.00 per player. There is a maximum charge of $150.00 per family, regardless of the number of players registered.

Eligibility - Baseball
Baseball registration is open to players ages 7-16. To determine eligibility, we use the player's age on April 30. So, if your child is at least seven years old on April 30, 2007, but no more than sixteen years old on April 30, 2007, then your child is eligible to play baseball in the Rockport Little League. In addition, players must comply with Little League residency requirements, and have primary residence in Rockport.

Eligibility - Softball
Eligibility for softball is not determined by age. Rather, it is determined by your child's grade. Children in grades 3 thru 8 during the 2006-2007 school year are eligible to play softball with the Rockport Little League.

Birth Certificate
Each player registering for baseball must provide a copy of their birth certificate. This is not required for players registering for softball. Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate to the registration.

Registration/Medical Form
The Registration/Medical form must be completed for each player being registered. This form must be completed for both baseball and softball registration. Click the link below to download this form to your computer and complete them before you come to registration.
