The Board of Directors thanks you for coaching in our program. Practices, games, and all of those phone calls! We know that the time and effort required to be a Little League coach is substantial and often taken for granted. Without volunteers like you, we could not offer Rockport youth the opportunity to enjoy baseball and softball. Thank you.
New Pitch Count Rule for 2007
Little League International has put in place a new pitch count rule effective for the 2007 season. This rule requires that pitchers be limited in the number of pitches that they can throw in a game, in consecutive games, and has many variables. All coaches in Minor A and Majors should familiarize themselves with this new rule. You can download a copy of the rule here.

Ask The Coach
John Parisi, Rockports High School Varsity Baseball coach, is a great source of information for our Little League coaches. John has frequently given clinics for us in the past, covering such topics as fundamental skills (fielding, throwing, and hitting), position play, pitching, organizing and running a practice, base running, base coaching, defensive/offensive strategies and plays, and suggestions for drills. We hope that John will offer more of these clinics in the future, so please check this page often to see what is planned.
